Anne Phung Nguyen

My name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in stunning Orange County California with my amazing husband JP and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry. My Instagram account @annephung is where the majority of my followers are. I post about my daily life, positive and negative. My parents welcomed me into America in the year 1990 when I was a mere one and a half years older. It wouldn't be possible to share my story to you now in the event that my parents did not work long and made sacrifices. Knowing that I could be a successful person and I wanted to succeed and make my parents proud. My life was set out: I would study at university, land a job with a large corporation as well as marry and then buy the house. The life I had planned to live was not as it turned out to be. My corporate job in 2013 was one I had dreaded. Money and status didn't give me joy. I believed that I was wasting away my time to make a living. It was in 2013 that I realized my love was exercising. In addition, I was a fan of getting involved in social activities and giving people back. This took me down an entirely new direction and into the realm of personal training. In 2014, I founded my small-scale business. It will be my 7th anniversary in 2021. There are few Asian females working in the field. In the coaching industry I'm hoping to make a difference by providing quality training to aid others to become more fit and healthier. Additionally, I aim for others to encourage them to chase their ambitions and desires to accomplish whatever they wish to do. My mother's passing in the midst of my career was gaining momentum and I suffered the most devastating loss of my life. Her eight-year battle with Scleroderma has ended and she is now in Heaven. The memory of her will always remain with me in my heart as well as my mind. The universe has the ability to provide us with the exact thing we need, regardless of our inability to grasp the lessons at this moment. In so many ways, my mom's death changed my life. I honestly believe that she gave me another opportunity to live through her demise. It was Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she died. She had her chance to begin her new life and I had my second chance at living happy and fulfilled life. The 30's are the only when I am truly feeling like it's a good time to be alive. As I write this story I hope my experiences will resonate with the ones you have. My hope is that my writings can aid you realize that you aren't alone. You have the potential to accomplish whatever you want to achieve. I pray that you live your life to the fullest and live your life without regrets because death is the only thing we can count on throughout our lives.
