Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish is most well-known for her performances in films such as Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) as well as Sarah as well as Geostorm (2017). Cornish made up a team that was awarded the first Screen Actors Guild Award for the film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Jack Gilpin was the star of Adventureland (2009) as well as Ann McDonough appeared in The Mothman Prophecies 2002 and various other movies. Betty Gilpin chose to act since her parents supported and believed in her. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin learned to be an actor. After graduation Gilpin began acting in Off-Broadway plays while auditioning for film and TV roles. Gilpin was able to land a regular role on the network's Law & Order: Criminal Intent between the years 2001-2011. It was followed by minor roles as ghosts as a ghost in Ghost Town and The Northern Kingdom. Gilpin kept landing mostly TV guest appearances throughout the following years, before getting her first break in 2013, when she was offered the part of Nurse Jackie. Gilpin appeared in Nurse Jackie for 34 episodes as the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin before it was cancelled in June 2015. Gilpin was a part of True Story (2015) the following year.
