Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was fourteen years old. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her first amateur appearance at 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd kept building on her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She knocked out all her opponents in the first round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record up to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut in professional boxing. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her, securing a first-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to knock down McGill by TKO in the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing the catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd had missed weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She finished her with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks was a unanimous winner. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina through her ground and pound techniques which resulted in the TKO 2nd round win. She continued to dominate and got a bigger win during her next fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd was victorious in round one and was awarded the Performance of the Night Prize. Her first fight of note came with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put up an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters received the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her losing streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. Her most recent bout for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
